By downloading or using the FoodTrust app ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FoodTrust, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old and agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

FoodTrust provides food product information including health scores, ingredient analysis, allergen alerts, and healthier product alternatives. All information is provided for general informational purposes only and does not constitute medical or nutritional advice.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Subscriptions and Payments

• FoodTrust offers a free tier and a Premium subscription.
• Subscriptions are billed through Apple's App Store. All payments are processed by Apple.
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
• Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The food scores, allergen information, and product data provided by FoodTrust are based on publicly available databases and may not always be accurate, complete, or up to date. FoodTrust is not a substitute for professional medical or dietary advice. Always consult a healthcare provider for medical conditions including allergies.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FoodTrust shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any adverse health events resulting from reliance on food information provided.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, and code of the FoodTrust app and website are owned by FoodTrust and protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute any part of the Service without written permission.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
