• Account information: Email address and name when you create an account.
• Health preferences: Allergen profile, dietary preferences, and health goals you set in the app. This data is stored encrypted.
• Scan history: Products you scan are stored to power your history and insights features.
• Usage analytics: Anonymous usage data to improve the app (crash reports, feature usage). No personal data is included.
• Device information: Device type and iOS version for technical support purposes only.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and personalise the FoodTrust service.
• To send allergen and safety alerts relevant to your profile.
• To improve our scoring algorithm and product database.
• To process subscription payments (handled securely by Apple).
• To respond to support requests.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

• Supabase: Our secure backend infrastructure for authentication and data storage.
• RevenueCat: To manage subscription status (no payment data is shared with us).
• Apple: For App Store payments and authentication.

4. Data Security

Your data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We regularly audit our security practices and follow industry standards.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Export your data in a machine-readable format.
• Opt out of analytics at any time in app Settings.
